Always being the ‘Arty type’ through school and college doing: Design / painting / photography / woodwork (making furniture) / fashion studies (making clothes) / technical architectural drawing, Rachael was destined to go into a Creative field.
After College Rachael went on to study Graphic Design at the National College of Design & Technology. After graduating she spent the next 3 years working as a Graphic Designer, tho she soon realised she wanted to not only use her creativity, but also her practical hands-on skills as well. So she made a move into the Signage Industry.

For the first 8 years Rachael worked for some of the best signage shops in Auckland. Every year she moved on to a new company with the sole purpose of absorbing as much experience as possible and learning new skills, both in the art departments and within the signage manufacturing and install teams. She then decided to start her own small signage business from home as well as becoming a part time signage contractor to sign shops all over Auckland.
Fast forward another 12 years, Rachael now has 2 decades of extensive experience from Design / Manufacturing / Installing. This enables Rachael to offer a diverse and effective range of Signage Solutions to her clients.
Trying to learn vehicle wrapping many years ago for a female in a very male dominated signage industry, was difficult to put it nicely. Rachael took it upon herself to learn, so she brought the vinyl and one weekend decided to try wrap her own car. It was challenging, but with the help of YouTube videos, she quickly learnt. Now she wraps vehicles for a living and is a customisation specialist. Her workmanship is second to none.

Rachael started off tattooing as a creative hobby about 4 years ago, as she has always been attracted to tattoo artistry. She created a home based, custom made – tattoo studio. Furthermore Rachael has her Health Licence from the Auckland Council to ensure a clean and hygenic environment, and loves working with clients to create something special for them.
Fine line and floral are her preferred styles to work with but she can lend her hand to many other styles.
Here at Creative Projects we are passionate about all things “Art and Design” and we want to create beautiful things for our customers to enjoy. We work with businesses of all sizes but particularly enjoy working with small companies – to help the “Under Dog” thrive is satisfying as we know how hard it is to get a small business off the ground.
